WHAT TO EXPECT

One service at 11AM in the lawn

Summer Sunday is going to be a blast as we head outside and into the sun. Everyone is gathering on the lawn (kids included!) for a shortened service with worship and an encouraging message from the Word.

Following service, there will be free hot dogs, food trucks, and activities for everyone!

A FEW QUICK NOTES:

- Service is shortened to 45 minutes

- No kids classes, they're sitting with us!
- No coffee and donuts, but for those with a Sunday sweet tooth, there's a truck for that!

- No pre-service prayer, but come prayed up!

Outdoor Service

Service will be held in the field near the pavilion and baseball field, so please bring chairs and/or blankets, as there is a limited number of outdoor chairs. If you'd like to bring a pop-up tent, please set it up near the edges of the service, as to not block any views of those surrounding you. Of course, it's recommended to wear your sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen!

SERVICE PACKING LIST:

- PLEASE bring a chair or blanket

- Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)

Lunch

After service, stick around for games and lunch! Hot dogs are provided for free, and there are food trucks with lunches available for purchase. You may also pack your own lunch, or even collaborate on a potluck with your Joy Group. The covered pavilion will be open for you to enjoy lunch in the shade. Water stations will be available.

FOOD TRUCKS:

- Soulfood

- Loaded Fries

- Chicken Bonz

- Kona Shave Ice

- Ice-Cream Truck

Activities

There will be lots of fun activities you can participate in, or you can just enjoy cheering and spectating.

- Volleyball

- Gagaball

- Cornhole
- 9-Square

- Inflatables

- Waterslides (Rec. Bring towels and swim clothes for kids!)

WHAT TO BRING

A chair and...

We don't want anyone to be unprepared, so here's a list of things to bring! The most important being a chair or blanket for your comfort during service and lunch.

SUMMER SUNDAY PACKING LIST:

- Please bring a chair or blanket

- Sun protection like hats and sunglasses. If desired, you're welcome to bring a canopy for shade during the service, but please set it up so it's not blocking anyone (a shaded pavilion is available during lunch)

- Optional: a picnic lunch, or money to spend at food trucks

- Tennishoes for outdoor activities
- Recommended for kids to bring swim clothes, as there are water slides!

PARKING & FACILITIES

What to know...

PARKING

Park anywhere in the parking lot except a marked area reserved for the set-up crew which is located between the lawns by the cafe. To exit the parking lot, the flow of traffic will go clockwise around the back of the building. Cones will be set up blocking the traffic to allow kids to safely pass through the parking lot into the lawns by the cafe where there will be bounce houses.

BATHROOMS

- Bathrooms and a changing table are available near service in the adjacent pavilion.

- The church building will be closed, except for the restrooms on the south side, which are open for use.

SHADE

- A covered pavilion is centrally located near the activities, however we encourage bringing a tent if you'd like shade during the service.

We're gonna have a blast!
